Entry Two: a summary of events that occurred on February 19th, 2005

Dearest Tour Diary:

Left side! That is the side of the road I drove on! It was crazy!

Right side! That is the side of the car the steering wheel is on! Also crazy! (This is where the flush is for the toilets too! Weird.)

Fish and chips! That is the greasy stuff we ate for lunch after renting a guitar amp after setting up our stuff at Madcap after unloading our stuff and drinking tea after driving to Milton Keynes from the airport after landing in our plane. It was only 1pm and we hadn't slept at all!

Then there was a show that we played at 2:30. It was a matinee for all the kids. All the kids apparently were grounded or something because I'm not sure anyone showed up to this show. There was Suzy and Katie and Peter and Greg. They all helped set up the shows, so they HAD to be there. Then some of Suzy's friends came (2 maybe?). And then there were those 2 girls that looked like their parents forced them to go, but I think they actually came voluntarily. And then Matt and Alex from VFD showed up a little late. They didn't really look like they were having such a good time either, but apparently they had a blast. So yeah, with 10 people in the crowd, we were free to run all around the room. And we ran around and body-slammed people in the crowd. You know…the usual sort of things.

Milton Keynes Show #1 - note the tremendous audience

Then we went out to dinner and we went to the world famous Milton Keynes SNOW DOME. It's an indoor skiing area. I think it cost like a million dollars a day for a lift ticket or something. Crazy! We saw people skiing and then we ate some food. Then we went back to Madcap for the night show. Some people actually showed up this time. We played an extra long set to make sure everyone got their money's worth and then when it was over, everything was quiet and we slept. Yay!
